At BeWell clinic we respect you rights to have full knowledge of how your data is being collected and used . This policy lays out what we do.

What information is being collected?

Our newsletter forms will collect your email address and  your name. By adding your name to this list you are consenting for BeWell clinic to contact you to provide useful information regarding our services and your health.
We do not currently hold any of your health data digitally, we may at in the future change this position but you will be informed of this change when it happens.
Who is collecting the data?
Your data is being collected by BeWell Clinic a trading name of Cross Gates Osteopathic Practice Ltd, 2 Aberford Road, Garforth, LS25 1PX,  Your data is not shared with any other organisations, though will be hosted through our Clinic Diary providers Cliniko. Our website may use cookies and is hosted through WordPress.org.
Why is my data being collected
We collect your data to provide you with up to date information about our services and to allow us to contact you by reminder text and email.
How will my data be used
If you give us permission to contact you by email, or if you sign-up to our mailing list, then we will also add your email address, name and company name to MailChimp for email marketing purposes.  Each email that you receive using MailChimp will come with a clear link to unsubscribe.  Note that unsubscribing from our MailChimp list does not unsubscribe you from all communications.  To do this, see ‘How can I be forgotten’ below.
If you give us permission to contact you in exchange for downloading some information from our website, we may email you directly to talk about the specific content you downloaded.
Who will my data be shared with?
We will not share or sell your data to any third parties for marketing use. Employees of our company may see the details you give to us in their day-to-day work. Your data will be held on the servers of Cliniko (Red Guava pty ltd Australia). We will only share your data when we are legally required to do so.
Third party software may also store your data if you have given us permission to stay in touch with you, such as MailChimp.
Does your website use cookies?
No, we do not use cookies at present, if this changes we shall let you know.

Access and correction

You can request access to personal information we hold about you. We will provide this except in the limited circumstances in which we are permitted not to.

You may request that we correct personal information we hold about you that is inaccurate or out-of-date. If you request that we delete your personal information, we will take all reasonable steps to do so unless we need to keep it for legal, auditing or internal business purposes.

Changes to this policy

We may review and amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updated versions of the Privacy Policy on our website.

How do I unsubscribe, or request to be forgotten?
If you receive an email from us using MailChimp email marketing software, you will be able to click the unsubscribe link in the footer to remove yourself from future mailings.
If you wish us to also remove what data we hold on you as a company, we are happy to do this as long as it complies with the records we are required to hold within UK law.  To request to be forgotten, please email mail@bewellclinic.co.uk or call  0113 2867562.
